There is a tailgate today at 5:00 for all high school students! Music, bags games and free food! After the game there will be a sock hop for TVHS students with free pizza! The dance ends at 10:30.

Second Grade students at TVES have been working hard researching online and in books from the library to learn facts about a variety of animals. They have also sculpted miniature versions of their animals. Great work!

TVHS key club and NHS will be trick or treating for UNICEF on October 21 from 1-3. Please consider making a donation when they come to your door!


The TVHS NHS will be collecting coats from Oct 15th-Oct 26th. Coats will be given to families in our district. You may drop off new or gently used coats and cold weather items in the high school office. Please contact Shari Riley sriley@tri-valley3.org with any questions.

Fire Safety was the focus this week for our elementary students. They practiced fire safety skills during our games and obstacle courses. Ask your students what they learned!




Today we recognized the Boys Golf Team who qualified for the IHSA State Finals this Friday and Saturday in Bloomington. On the season the varsity team had an amazing record of 47-1! Our boys golfers are back-to-back HOIC conference champions and are Regionals Champions this year as well. The team is led by Coach Bryan Corn and includes Camdyn Zook, Drew Guimond, Cooper Goble, Nathan Larson, Camdyn McFarland, Drew Rudsinski, Ryan Steiner, Matthew Barker, Josh Stewart, and Ben Hausehalter. Fitness Center Open House: We would like to welcome all Tri-Valley parents and community members to an Open House for our new Fitness Center on Thursday, October 11th, from 6:00-8:00pm. Our Fitness Center is part of Phase 1 of the Tri-Valley High School renovation project. Phase 2 is the remodeling of the academic wing and classrooms, and the addition of a auditorium and auxiliary gymnasium, which will begin in the spring of 2019. Sean McCormick, our Strength PE teacher, and Ben Derges, TVHS principal, will be in the Fitness Center to show guests around. This Open House coincides with Parent-Teacher Conferences and our final home high school volleyball game in hopes that you can stop in for a few minutes while you are here. We are very proud of the Fitness Center and can’t wait to show it off!


We're headed to State!! Congrats to the Viking Boys Golf team on placing 2nd at their 1A IHSA Sectional advancing them to the IHSA State Finals! Scores at the Danville Schlarman Sectional were: Barker 79, Zook 85, Stewart 87, Guimond 90, Steiner 93, and Rudsinski 106. Boys Golf Team State will be this Friday and Saturday at Prairie Vista GC in Bloomington


Congratulations to the Vikings Marching Band, the 2018 Class AAAA champions at the Metamora Redbird invitational! They also won Best Percussion and Best Winds (music) captions. It was a stand and play performance because of the weather. Great job Vikings!


Tri-Valley HS will host a Trunk or Treat on October 27th from 5-7pm in the high school parking lot. TVHS sophomores Ella Propersi and Windsor Roberts have created this event as their Innovation Project to benefit Wishbone Canine Rescue. There will be a contest for the best decorated car as well. If you would like to be in the trunk or treat please contact the HS office (378-2911).


Our chorus program is performing in front of a packed house! Of course we also have backstage shenanigans 😂
