The Tri-Valley Scholastic Bowl team is headed to IHSA STATE! The Vikings claimed a Sectional Championship today with wins over Fisher, War-Latham, & Decatur St. Teresa. State matches will be Friday at the Peoria Civic Center. Congrats to Coach Corn & the entire team! #viking4life


Tri-valley was visited by senior nursing students from Mennonite College of Nursing at ISU and they taught our anatomy students how to take peoples pulse and blood pressure.

There will be a fan bus for 7th & 8th grade students to the 8th grade volleyball sectional game Monday at Macon Meridian High School. The bus will leave at 5:00 pm and return at approximately 8:30 pm. Students will need $1 for the bus, $2 for admission, and money for concessions if desired. Students may sign up in the middle school office through the start of school Monday morning. GO VIKINGS!


Regional Champs! 8th grade volleyball defeated Williamsville Wednesday night in Riverton to advance to the IESA Sectional at Macon Meridian Monday night. GO VIKINGS!


TVMS will have a fan bus to the IESA State 7 3A Volleyball Tournament. 7th & 8th grade students will travel to Decatur Lutheran High School on Friday, March 8th. The cost is $1. The bus will depart for Decatur at 4:30 p.m. for a 5:45 pm game. We plan to return to TVMS at approximately 8:30 pm. Deadline to sign-up is Friday March 8th by the start of school. Students should bring $1 for the bus, $2 for admission to the game, and money for concessions. GO VIKINGS!
Should the volleyball team win Friday night there will be a second fan bus departing at 9:30 am for Decatur on Saturday. If Tri-Valley wins Friday night, they are guaranteed 2 games on Saturday. Students will need to bring $1 for the bus, $3 for admission to the tournament, and money for lunch and snacks. If time allows the fan bus will go to Dairy Queen between games, if not we will stay on site and have concessions for lunch. Return time will be based what time the volleyball team plays in the afternoon session. We would return at 6:00 pm at the latest.
Students must sign up for both fan buses separately and prior to the start of school Friday in the middle school office. Money for the bus and admissions will be collected prior to boarding the bus. If there are still seats available after Wednesday, 6th graders will be allowed to sign up beginning Thursday morning before school on a first come, first served basis. There are 50 spots available. The TVHS NHS worked at Midwest Food Bank on Saturday. What a great experience! The kids worked hard!


Lady Viking Volleyball is headed to state! Congratulations to 7th grade volleyball on winning the IESA sectional by defeating GCMS in 2 sets Monday night in Mackinaw. The girls will now play in the IESA State Tournament Friday At 5:45 pm at Decatur Lutheran High School. GO VIKINGS!


The Annual Tri-Valley School Carnival and Silent Auction was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who volunteered his or her time and attended the carnival. We truly appreciate your dedication to Tri-Valley schools and students. A special thanks to Julia Carter, Nicole Davis, Jessica Jacob, and Mel Pilchard for planning such a great event!


6th grade wrestler Brady Mouser has placed 2nd in the IESA Sectional Tournament and will advance the State Meet next Week. Brady’s record stands at 27-5 on the season. Congratulations Brady and good luck!


Students from our Renaissance group Went to Lakeland College on Thursday to hear Mike Smith speak. They even got to chat with him afterwards!


Staff and students are getting hands on with the proposed interactive touch boards that will replace the existing projectors in the classrooms. These boards have so many features that will push us forward in being on the cutting edge of technology.We will rotate them around so every teacher and students have time to try them out.

Congratulations to TVHS senior Andrew Guimond on being named Honorable Mention for the 2019 IHSA All-State Academic Team! There are over 800 IHSA member schools who can each nominate two students. Only 50 students received this designation. Congrats Drew! #vikingstv3


The TVHS Relay for Life team is hosting a fundraiser at Chipotle this Saturday, March 2nd from 4-8. They will receive 50 percent if their group is mentioned at checkout. No flyer needed. This is a HUGE percentage! Please support our team and spread the word! Thank you!


JWave and the Blue Ribbon Belly Floppers took to waters of Miller Park this Saturday to raise over $10,000 for Special Olympics. The Floppers were led by captain, Glenda Walsh, Olympians-Jacob Cross and Brady Sutton with their coach and included thirty middle schoolers (and four teachers)! The water was cold and the energy was high. We couldn’t be prouder of our Viking families for their giving and brave spirits.
